A series of magazine covers inspired by the New Yorker style, depicting a Newport edition.

The New Yorker covers ability to reflect the time and place through illustrations and design captivates audiences. Being from New York, then moving to Newport t, RI, I fell in love with its architecture, colors, and overall community. My and the historical relation between New York and Newport, inspired the creation of this magazine.
The aim was for the covers to feel authentically representative of Newport. To ensure this, I gathered reference photos in Newport, RI. I rendered all of the elements like houses, greenery, and background separately with micron pens and watercolors. Then I scan them in, digitized them. and arranged and edited them in photoshop, balancing digital and physical art.
